HalluxValgus is an innovative application for orthopedic, physiatrists and physiotherapists thanks to which its finally possible to assess the angular deformity of forefoot.
This application was born from biomedical engineering and specialization in orthopedics and traumatology with the aim of producing a portable measuring instrument, ensuring total reliability and repeatability of the results, and to serve as a convenient database.
HalluxValgus, in fact, allows to measure, in a reliable and repeatable way, the angular deformity of patients suffering from angular deformity of the forefoot, starting from radiographs from which measurements of Angular deformities are made before and after surgical correction, providing at the operator, in an immediate way, the sensitive data of the patient.
Moreover, with HalluxValgus you always have in your hands, not only a measurement tool, but also a convenient archive, available at any time, because this measurements are automatically included in the medical records of the patient.
HalluxValgus is able to calculate, in real time, the variation (in degrees) of the angles of interest between the values obtained from images pre surgical correction and those obtained from the images of post surgical correction, providing a trend of surgical correction angles.
The image processing grants to the operator the opportunity to acquire a significant amount of images, light and high-quality at the same time, to the point of not overloading the device.
All the data, or part (at the discretion of the operator), can be shared, for each patient, via email.
HalluxValgus also dedicates a section to statistics that allows the implementation of the data to own internal personal scientific work.
HalluxValgus is the measuring instrument and the archive with which you can make measurements anywhere, while you are making a visit to the patient, transcribing, recording, and updating for you, all the data in the medical records of each patient and fully automatic.
